University Strike

So recently, about a week ago on Nov.1st, my university faculty went on strike. I don't blame them, the administration is terrible with finances yet they gave themselves a raise while cutting funding to the other programs. So, because there are no classes not a lot has been going on since then. It's already the 8th day.
Many students left the residence, and only a few have actually gone to see the picketers as they march on the outskirts of the schools property.
There was an organized sit in by the students today, about 10 out of the 5000 students at school showed up. And only about 8 have made it through the day, they plan on sleeping there. A lot of students are telling them over social media that this is a waste of their time and not to bother. But with their degrees on the line and the potential loss of their teachers I can support them enough.
Everyone is hoping that the strike will end soon, and I agree. Though I'll admit this has been the most peaceful week I've ever had since I entered university.
